Why Aren't You Doing Pilates?

What is Pilates? Pilates is too hard. Pilates is too easy. Pilates is only for people who are in shape. Pilates is too expensive. Sound familiar? During this workshop Chelsea will answer any and all questions you have about Pilates and get to the bottom of all the Pilates myths you have heard or are confused about. She will also have you move and give you some Pilates homework to incorporate into your everyday, healthy lifestyle. This workshop and Pilates is for everyone!

Chelsea Streifeneder is the owner of Body Be Well Pilates. Chelsea’s approach to teaching is practical, hands on, and intensive, but always accompanied by a bit of humor to keep it light! Chelsea is passionate about sharing Pilates and strives to teach concepts as opposed to just teaching exercises. She inspires her clients to take what they learn in their sessions and apply it to their every day lives.

He’ll discuss the current state of the research on multivitamins and why they may not be what everyone thinks they are. Finally, he’ll discuss some small, yet effective changes to your diet to blow your multivitamin out of the water.”

Learn how to manage yourself better. Those in attendance will experience how hypnosis can alter your thoughts about stress and how you deal with the challenges of everyday life.

Michael Salerno is a Certified Hypnotist who has a practice at the WellTree in Rhinebeck, NY. He works with clients in a variety of areas including smoking cessation, weight management, and stress reduction.

You might think that hypertension is genetic and you get it from your family but it is important to realize that we also inherit our behavior from our family as well. This is good news. We can change our destiny! If our family members have high blood pressure we do not necessarily have to have high blood pressure. This program will teach you how to reduce your risk of developing high blood pressure by improving your sleep and nutrition habits. Let’s break this chain of familial hypertension together.

Joel Weintraub is a “humorous educator” who has managed to merge the formerly disparate worlds of comedy and education. As a social worker, fitness professional and educator, Amanda has spent the last 20 years helping others find their paths to fulfilling and productive lives. She is one of NYC’s elite fitness instructors, having been featured in Time magazine as a HIIT expert and currently stars in AcaciaTV’s fitness videos. While battling Trigeminal Neuralgia, an extremely debilitating disease, Amanda founded Face the Change, a campaign to increase awareness of the disease and find a cure.
